  1. Summary of new features in DICE version 3.77 (DOS version):

  3.    The following features have been added to the DOS version 3.77 of
  4. DICE and are described in the manual:
  5.  
  6. 1)   The maximum tag length can be set by using $Mxx startup command line
  7.      argument.   "xx" specifies the maximum number of characters that can
  8.      be used in command tags.  This number cannot excede 20.
  9.  
  10. 2)   The function keys F1 throught F10 and <alt>A through <alt>Z can be used
  11.      as "accelerated" command tags.   This function provides single button
  12.      execution of commands.
  13.  
  14.    Also included is a 286 version (DICE286.EXE) which has been compiled using
  15. instructions for 286 and later machines.  This version will not run on 8086's
  16. or 8088's.  It uses a few hundred bytes less memory on 286 and above
  17. machines.
